The Summit will be followed by a networking drinks reception in the Science Museum’s Winton Gallery, where the mathematics exhibition examines the fundamental role mathematicians, their tools and ideas have played in building the world we live in.

Organised by Protect Pure Maths and supported by the Council for Mathematical Sciences as well as the five learned mathematical societies, this one-day summit is an unprecedented event bringing together leaders from academia, industry and politics to discuss how the mathematical sciences can better contribute to research, innovation and prosperity.
